RIAHA prides itself on one of the best year-end awards programs in the region. Open to all members, with divisions for Purebred Arabian, Half-Arabian and Open Breed, there is something for everyone!
Once you've enrolled, submit your class placings and begin accumulating points towards your awards.
Awards are presented from Champion through sixth place to horse/rider teams in a variety of divisions from Halter and Lead Line to Western Pleasure and Working Hunter to Two-Phase and Trail.
Do you love spending time riding or driving your horse? Through our Frquent Rider Program (FRP), you can track your hours and earn awards when you reach certain milestones. Open to all RIAHA affiliate and associate members with horses of any breed.
Once you reach each of the milestones you'll receive a certificate and commemorative item as chosen by the committee. Milestone levels are:
25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000 hours
In order to accrue hours:
*Rider/driver must be a current RIAHA affiliate or associate member.
*Rider/Driver must enroll in the FRP for hours to count. Hours prior to enrollment date or during lapse of membership would not count.
*Rider/Driver can submit hours from an unlimited number of horses (Arabian, Half-Arabian, and open breed) provided that those hours are earned in non-competitive riding/driving activities.
*Participants are responsible for self-reporting their hours.
*Hours earned towards milestone awards are cumulative and roll over from year to year provided membership is current.
*Rider enrollment fees of $10 for one-year; $20 for 3 years and $40 for lifetime.
